And those are the 2 main reasons this will never happen...(good Points)

There are no monuments in the real world for cheaters or hackers.... only heroes....

Lets switch things around... how about putting really helpful people here in the forums and in the game into the actual Training Grounds Mechs?

I always wanted to headshot Koniving, Bishop Steiner, or Alistair Winter ;)

Scarlet letter.

I say go past the ones caught cheating and take a good hard look at the teams they were on. If as an opponent you could see how highly probable they were cheating imagine how easy it was for the clowns who ran with them every day.

The real scumbags are the ones on their team who said nothing and took benefit from it.

When you done with that look at those who were big forum warriors then look at their compatriots here. Put them on notice they will be examined closely. It would change the complexion here if the forum bullies knew they were on a short leash.

What Happens in the game stays in the game? Your kidding right.? That's saying "hey its ok to be an **** , Its only in a game. so go ahead and cheat" that's a way to justify the behavior , like I said "you must learn to take responsibility for your actions"

So Ironic considering your sig. Yes, no burning at the stake lets just have private prisons with the highest prison pop on the planet, less rights and more big brother, that's the answer.

I digress this is to much politics for my smashy robot game discussion. My #1 rule in MWO, know when to disengage. Toodles.

That saying is so true and at the same time very loaded. However, I wonder just how many people even realize that.

Right, because when, say, a unit with a hundred people is found to have a single hidden cheater and they all get warned they're under scrutiny, they totally won't feel like they're being painted with the same brush. They'll totally feel they're 100% welcome to the community by the devs. They'll totally be ecstatic, even, to the point they'll choose to play even more and praise the angels.

Instead of, you know, feeling like they're being unjustly singled out, possibly even feeling (rightfully) offended they're being eyed as possible cheaters despite being honest players and wanting to curtail their playing or quit entirely instead of putting up with that attitude. And then probably warn away others who might be eyeing MWO to play because 'cheater witchhunt'.

Yeah, it'll totally work.

A cheater was found in their ranks. If that happened to teh Law, I would hope Doc and the other founders of the group would throw open the windows to invite scrutiny.

Got told once that the boss watching me work. My reply, Hope he is satisfied. The coworker could not understand why I wasn't upset.

I wasn't slacking off.

Moral of the story. If I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to fear.

That Tribute is in London.... There is no mention of his name in any monument in America.....

West Point has Every General's name that has ever served there... EXCEPT his name (only his rank)...

..although if you read about Benedict ARnold... the Continental Congress and his fellow Countryman sort of screwed him over first (in promotions and money,ect)... which made him bitter and thats why he changed sides...

Yes they cheated, but they do not deserve to be put on training mechs and have their names forever seen by everyone who goes in there to blow training mechs to bits.

It would teach them nothing, and would not add any value to the game.

What can we do about teams "helping" each other win the tournaments? I mean there is a guy on the leaderboard with 4000 points in the resistance tourny... That just ruins the event for people that actually play for fun. You would have tO solo kill 3 or 4 players per drop and assist the rest, survive and win.
