WTF PGI, the scale on the Wave III mechs have been perfect. What am I going to complain about on the forums now?

Well, either Arctic Cheetah is a little bulky, or Spider is a little undersized. I think we all know which one is the case.

Shadowcat maybe could be a tinge smaller, but it's close enough to be happy with.
(At only 5 tons more than the Cicada, considering the full arms and the extended CT, the torso and legs should probably have been about 5% smaller than the Cicada. Plus, traditionally, clan mechs are more compact than the IS versions of the same weight. And of course, some people feel the CDC is oversized, though I am not one of them)

All in all, scale is close enough for Gov't work. A little leary about the STs on the Shadowcat and Leg bulk on the Cheetah, but it is what it is.

They both look good, are sized good. I look forward to receiving mine. Am surprised how well they modeled the legs, as that was my least favorite part of Alex's concept art for it.

Well, you could join the train of people complaining about the look of them?

Seriously though, no regrets on Wave 3 purchase for me.

I like that they expanded the paintable area in the default camo. I don't like that the unpaintable area is much darker than the previous clan's grey steel look

Wow, colour me surprised - flabbergasted even. The other screenshots had me convinced we had clan Kintaros.

These... these look great. The Scat is a little wide, which is concerning, but that little light looks like it is indeed a little light. Awesome.

Still going to drop in a StreakCrow/Cat/Dog for the first few days after release though ;)

I am shocked... shocked... that these two mechs are actually scaled where you THINK they'd be scaled.

Well done PGI.

YOU WON'T EVEN SEE IT COMING BISHOP.

One hand piloting, the other stuffing cheetoes into my face, covering the screen with cheeto detrius after each derped out streak kill.

Of course, Spider pilots will tell you that its all skill, when in reality...

Well then.. PGI didn't even make it fat to balance out clan XL durability. So, with it's ECM, Energy hard points, speed, and clan XL it's now the most durable and hardest hitting light mech.

I guess there's only one solution for IS light mech pilots... My jenner shall purge this OP abomination with laserfire!

Pretty much this. Glad I coughed up cash for this wave after waiting so long since my last purchase.

Not bad at all. Glad HSR is allowing me to reliably target lights again.

So who was that moron that refunded his Wave III purchase because of pre-release fear-mongering again?

Somebody who must be feeling the burn now...

Also, for anyone worried that the Arctic Cheetah's clan XL will be too annoying... aim for the legs....

It always boggles me when people shoot at anything other than the legs with any light that isn't a Jenner.
