Would you like missions as a first-person shooter, MechWarrior style? As in a CRPG counterpart to the BattleTech giant robot combat?
Because, as it is now, MWO is much more like BTO: robots only.

Been said before by PGI back in closed beta days: this game is about the BattleMechs. Non-mech units won't be playable.
I think it would be cool to see AI-controlled tanks, infantry and battle armor.

In MWO?
If it is in MWO, I would rather not. Let them first fix what they have, and bring everything up to snuff, then we can talk about expanding beyond that. Otherwise, we do have the BT RPGs. My friends and I used to run a lot of campaigns as mercs trying to scrape by. So most of the time we were not in cockpits, but sneaking around sabotaging things.

Yeah those were the days. Ran a Mechwarrior campaign for a year that had a total of three actual mechbattles in it. They ran an entire Mercenary company, Dropship and everything. Even had someone running the payroll, making decisions on who to hire and everything. Had to steal their mechs back after a planet confiscated everything once. That was a good run.
