Events that reward pilots for reaching out of their comfort zone and playing the other weight classes is great. The queue splits are usually really close to 25/25/25/25 the whole time too.
Any event encouraging pilots to mix it up and play mechs they might not normally play is good! I also know a bunch of players who really look forward to the day or three of premium time given out by events. Even one day is enough to get them back in the saddle and work for that time and then of course play like mad during their premium time.
