I just hope these devs can truly understand and love the way the game was on PC back at the start, and make a successful creation based on all that was good from the past games. The Living Legends Crysis Mod really brought the spark back on what a modern engine can do with Mechs in a DX10 graphics engine and modern controls. With much less use of Joysticks today, the control scheme will have to be adjusted a bit from the MW4 days, but overall, as long as the game does reign familiar to WoT ( IMO a successful mix of F2P and P2P that could work in the Mechwarrior environment) then we will have a fantastic successful game. Finally bringing Mechs back from the console era and home to the PC.
I do hope that some storyline/single player campaign ideas might be tossed around or added in (or a separate game entirely) in the future. The Storyline and Entire Universe of Battletech has a ton of potential. A mix of amazing graphics, fantastic storyline, great cinematics, perfect scripting/voice acting, and this could jumpstart the Sci-Fi Singleplayer genre all over again.
Ah a guy can dream. MW2 Mercs still reigns as a game I think back to again and again.

I remember *** owing Atlas Mechs by running up to their Legs in Jenners and just blowing out their knee caps, and they couldnt shoot me rofl, the rest of my Team would be heavys to distract them as I ran up to them... I would bring back alot of salvage that way...

If the OP is indeed the first non-PGI post, 'twould've been more interesting to have waited until exactly (to the minute) one year had passed...
