A bit of thread necro but it seemed appropriate.

As many of my gaming friends in World of Tanks and Eve-online are Soooo looking forward to switching to this game when it rolls out, we have a question about the game economy.
Will there be a vibrant market similar to eve-online? Where the mwo universe spans many star systems with many more planets, with natural trade hubs forming, providing the ability to manufacture, buy and sell all equipment, chasis, and interstellar transport for such items as well as guild/clan mech transport to carry out planetary assault?
Regards,

Great to see devs being able to post with humor without setting fire to the forum.
Cool concept art thanks.

I can confirm one thing. There is no player to player trading. So I would think the mech lab will be the same and offer the same where ever you are.
Would it not be annoying to have to go to a specific system before entering your mechlab in order to fit a part? I've made the guess that this game is as simple as Battlestar Galactica Online, which I say in a good way. More time fighting, less time doing admin on an inventory or hanging around social zones trying to find the right vendor
