People Have Good Matches Sometimes, It's Not Automatically Cheating.

Sometimes you have out of the 10 matches about two or three when everything goes fine and you score above your 'avarage'.
Very satifying.
From those 7 or 8 matches i score average, because the rest falls like puppets or the other team is just better or our team is just not so good.

Put in XL engine but moved at stock speed, intentionally, to draw in prey.
Once someone fell for it, hit full speed, and in a blur of Urbie love, he was a pile of slag.
His/her easy kill was mine and they did not like it at all, so, naturally, I was cheating.
Sad how many pugtards fall for the bait and trap.

After seeing the ban list and having problems with three of them on a regular basis though was all joy. I am sure a lot of the top tier guys just stopped after the first ban and skated by but at least they are no on notice. If PGI keeps this up the accusations will calm down over time.
Just do your best and have fun. Ignore the top tier comp guys and don't play their game.

There is a certain cycle to cheating though and once you have them in your game it can take a very long time to stamp it out!

If someone exposes themselves for .5 seconds and fires off a ppfld alpha that catches a specific component from 500+ meters,it could definitely be skill. If they do it several times in one match to actively moving opponents, hitting the same location each time against a mech that's moving, it becomes suspicious.

That way you have a record of your awesome game, also if there are any accusations you have proof you were playing normally like a human.
A data logging replay feature would be good, a few big games have that.
Works by logging every action by every player in the game and then the client can reconstruct it into a replayable recording of the match from every viewpoint.
Would be a lot harder to sneaky cheat when anyone suspicious of a player can replay their every action.
Another advantage of that is making cool movies from various camera angles and with higher resolution post processed rendering.

Many of us have games that are to good to be true.... we start out the match, things go very well, and they just keep going well. Our team mates work as a team, MM sets up incoming stomp for one team or the other at times, and sometimes it sets up a match that is so close, that all the stars align, and its either ace of spades kinda match or 1200+ damage in a pug drop.
I know I have had quite a few matches that have pushed into the red and seemed way to good to be true. Right place right time, things can come together very well if you are somewhat skilled at this game, are lucky in a game, and once again all the stars seem to align. I have never had someone accuse me of "cheating" in game. I have had several players tell me that I "F@#$ed them once again" in a match because it seemed I went on a killing spree and couldn't be stopped, one such match was in my BJ-Arrow, 3 med pulse lasers, 6 mg's, 8000 rounds of ammo.
I haven't been playing as much in the last several months as I used to over the last 2 years for sure, but Its been months since I have had a really "god" like match such as those kind. I have screen shots and fraps videos of the majority of my matches, so I can submit them to PGI if I ever get such claims made against me. Not that I think anyone would claim it, and I simply do not cheat. I think the closet I have came to "cheating" in this game is when the server jacked up the drops, and we had pilots drop out of the match, like all 12 of them, and I was able to get the Deathstar title. I didn't even try to take advantage on my clan account, even after knowing I could of got the Deathstar on it too.
However, to my defense, I didn't even know about the drops until a hour later when I came onto the forms to find out what was going on with the servers. I also haven't put the title of Deathstar on my name badge, not even once. I have standards in life and in any game I play. Using cheat codes for playing games that are PVE is one thing... (game genie, shadowrun ABACABBAABB etc. etc...) but using paid software designed to cheat in a online game vs real players is something that is beyond me. For me, the ends doesn't justify the means, and I can't even begin to grasp why anyone would try to "cheat" at this game, not what my version of fun is.
I have played against you and on your team if I remember right.... no issues with your play style from me. Please, proceed

It's a compliment when you're not cheating.

True, very true.
Well, this particular match I finally got my shiny new achievement badge with a little more than 100 damage per head.
It's funny because this particular achievement has long been just 1 kill out of my grasp...until now!

I got called a cheater 3 days ago....when someone is in an Urban Mech yells out you because I"m in a Huginn Raven.... which has the fastest SRM cooldown in the game... and I kill them because they died INSTANTLY from my barrage of Srm 4s.... it makes you wonder (and then secretly I Love this Mech... because its really TRollish... but you have to be so close to do damage... its squishy... which makes it balanced)

No proof, nothing to do about it so we jut shrugged it off and went to the next match.
