I have to say, that though it's not out yet, the MASC preview vid looks pretty awesome.
It really looks like it's going to give that assault a unique edge in its role. I like it a lot.

But watching it I can't help but see it and say, "Hey! That's what my Heavy Metal is supposed to be!" In theory, it should be a bit more nimble, at the cost of some fire power. But even with the recent quirks, it still doesn't happen. It's still a slug.

Anyone else feeling a bit jealous?

Haha, yes... sure. But if you're smart, you'll use it to duck in out of situations, or quickly reinforce positions. It could be invaluable!

I wouldn't say that. It's gonna be a lot quicker, but the Highlander is supposed to have better jump jets, not speed. Maybe closer to a Victor.

Looking forwards to it more than the Cauldron Born to be honest. There will be plenty of Leeroy Jenkins moments going on as people get used to MASC but given I like nimble assaults (oxymoron as that often sounds), just being able to speedily reposition in and out of cover alone makes it a -big- draw to me.

Someone just mentioned about reintroducing Knockdown in a thread.... THAT will make Mr. Exe better at doing "Death from Above" (Executioner Burial) or just simply "Knockdown and Execute". Mr. Exe must be able to hold its stance though, to perform the latter.
