Hey folks,
I don't know about you, but one of the big things I think about in these tournaments is "What are these guys running??".
I know it's how you play it/skill, but I'm a decent player and really come nowhere near the strength of some of these guys. I'm not pretending I'm at their skill level, but I really do find myself curious as to what they're running.

Is there anyway, short of seeing them in game, to find out?
Any chance any of you leaderboard toppers want to contribute what you use in your R mechs?

Har har! I appreciate the angst, but you know that's not really possible in most of the R mechs. There's hardly the hardpoints to commit to the vomit.

In the Founder's Event My Fatlas had Triple LPLs + AC20. Got to 13th place YOLOing with it.

4xLPL, XL360 in the Zeus. At the time of posting I'm holding #2 spot, though I doubt that will hold out for much longer. I really only played for the 20 points on the personal challenge, the tourny position was quite the bonus. I tried a couple times to up my score, might try again if I have free time, but I think I got really lucky early on with a few 800-1200dmg matches.

Now, if there was ever a Hero-mech tournament, well I'd be taking days off and doing a MWO-marathon to secure #1 on my favourite heroes.

actually, the Hopper is almost guaranteed Vomit, and the PNT too. Willing to best most Zeus are sowrd and board with the torsos packing some variant of Larrge Laser, MAYBE with an AC on the side, but most likely STD engines and lots of DHS with 4 LPL, ER LL or LLs.

Only one likely not is the ENF.

I'm only like 10th but the Zeus with an XL 350, Gauss, and 3 LL, and a ML just for bonus DPS in closer engagements has worked pretty nicely. I just get greedy sometimes and it doesn't always work out.

Fair enough Bishop. I guess I wasn't including the Hopper. The other 3 I don't usually see pure vomit. But I also think of the old Timber builds when I think vomit.
Evidently the Zeus is sitting heavy on big lasers, contrary to my expectation.

I'm also curious what people are doing with the Enforcer and Hopper.
The Panther seems self-limiting in build options, but how about those middle guys? Something other than the more prolific builds?

The current event sparked my interest, but I've become wrote intrigued with any of the mechs some of these leaders are using.
