Ye.. as I feared.. So, if I want to use the Expanded view and don't want to change to (my always used) lowest resolution FOR every match, and change it back again to 1600x900 AFTER every match.. I would need a full new PC, a new monitor,... and least two new eyes...

Huh... I guess, I must wait and hope till UI 3.0 (or whatever will be the next "improvement")... or hope for the existence of the reincarnation...
It sounds like there comes a point, when hardware is the issue.

1600x900 is practically, a 15"-20" 16:9 monitor.

Being you're already running it on lowest res, you seem to have a hardware problem anyway.
Please read this: How to Optimise MWO if you're having Framerate Issues or are using a lower spec computer, it might help you.

Please stop refering to this old user.cfg optimizations - thay won't work since a year now!
It's also not the solution to set all Video Settings to low - it may make your frames even more worse! You have to try ound and find your own best-Settings using testing-grounds and the FPS-indicatior (press F9 ingame)... the only Thing you have to dieactivate is v-sync.

Really, because it still works fine for me.

This coming patch I will be updating it some, as FoV and Cockpit Glass will be in the game, and so want taking from CFG and put in Settings.

Actually it isn't as alot of people already stated in the Public Test forum.

Now nearly everything PGI implements at the moment is not thought-out enough.

I don't know more and more patch after patch I'am more disappointed.

If this isn't an improvement on the current mechlab, I'll eat my hat. If the improvements make it easier for (especially new) players to navigate outfitting their mechs, it's a step forward irregardless of any flaws that are perceived.

In other news, DakkaWhale uprising inbound? Oh, and Cauldron Born too.

Which one though?
Multi-UAC5?
Or UAC something else?
I have seen Dires eunning LBX10s and 20s, they can always switch to new UACs now.
I believe multi-UAC5 does 25 in an alpha at best.
Dual UAC-10 comes close and dual UAC-20 is 40.
Then there are those trying out clan ACs on other Mechs like Timber Wolves.

Awesome patch. Packed full of good news, and much needed changes.

The mech select thing may grow on us... I know I didn't like it either at the time, but we'll see...

The clans DESPERATELY needed that buff to the ACs. You won't see nearly as much laser vomit now that the ACs are going to be usable. That's a third of a second decreese in volley time on the AC/20. Which should make them excellent weapons. Glad this came out in time for my Ebon Jaguar, which I was planning to load full of ACs and bear it anyway!

For the record, I was an IS player prior to about a week or two ago :P And I held those same beliefs then. The Clan ACs were nigh on useless...

The FOV and cockpit glass additions are glorious.

Keep up the good worj PGI!

Great just what the Clans needed a buff to their AC's as if their Alphas were not bad enough

Puleeze. If you are taking a full alpha from a clan mech you are doing it wrong.

Well this is one patch I can't wait to install..

I'm really looking forward to the new Mechbay, as It seems its going to finally be comperable to the simplicity of smurfy's.

Also nice that they slightly buffed the clan balistics.. It still compare to IS counterparts, but we will take anything we can get, especially after the whole Timberwolf and Stormcrow de-fanging nerfs..

PGI is attempting to give us "small doses" of happines to put out all the fires that arose after that nerf..

IS will always say clans are OP, and CLANS will always say IS is OP... it's up to the dev's to make the final call, and the players to keep playing and supporting them, instead od constantly threatening to cancel this pack or that one..

I too just have to say thanks, PGI, for continuing this new tradition of releasing patch notes BEFORE the actual patch drops so that we can look up what's happening and 'mentally prepare' for the incoming patch.

I love this new open communications model you guys have been using of late. Keep up the good work!

I might actually login to try the new lab, but I doubt it's enough to encourage me to play again. There's way to many fundamental issues with the game as a whole. While I will not be purchasing anymore of PGI's wares I will not ask for refunds on the undelivered... yet.

I do not like the weapon quirks of the enforcer. Nothing specific to the AC/20, only plain ballistic quirks... Only the fact that it has an extra slot on the hand to fit an AC/20 does not make it that exciting I' m afraid...
The Panther on the other hand, looks yummy :)

Im confused what you think you will be able to do with the Panther..

you must use Ballistics, or whats the point

Best case loadout tonnage is 15.5 tons (FF+ES+XL225+1JJ.. you dont want to be going slower than that)

That is 2xAC2 with only enough ammo to do 525 dmg if it all hits. Not viable.
Or AC10 with the same dmg cap. Not viable.
(U)AC5 by itself is rubbish, even with a 25% cooldown quirk
Cant fit an AC20
Gauss with 0.5 tons of ammo is laughable
AC5 + 2xSRM4 only leaves 3.5 tons of ammo total.. dmg cap issues again.

I really cannot see a viable build capable of breaking 500 dmg with this..

Nice work PGI. The new mech lab will be appreciated.

It is amazing to see some of the people complain ALREADY about the Clan AC"s getting an adjustment and the patch hasn't even arrived. If anything, this will help Clan mechs use ballistics and get away from the "meta" layzeer-***** knee jerk design mechs. We even have people threatening to leave MWO because of X change... and again the PATCH ISNT EVEN OUT YET!

I look forward to facing more Clan mechs with ballistics!

Job well done PGI, this shows that you are monitoring the stats and listening to the players.
