It would be great to be able to send one of the Mastery Packs from the store as a gift to a new player.

The Mastery packs are designed to help get a new player into the game by providing a complete set of mechs needed to master a chassis, giving them one mech with a C-bill boost and one mech with an XP boost. It's a great way to jump right into the game with a much lower grind time to be playing on equal footing with the other players around you.

Currently the only way to Gift someone with a set of mechs needed for Mastery or give them a mech with a C-bill bonus is to gift a them one of the Resistance packs or Invasion Waves. This means that to give them a mech of any size larger than a light you have to shell out a large amount of money which some players may not be willing to do.

Gifting Mastery packs would both be a potential source of profit for PGI and it would increase how friendly the game was to at-least some new players.

Yes. It's a good idea and i fully support it.
Even though, I probably wouldn't buy it for friends, because i don't have any.

Eh, but it would make for nice giveaways
