After 3 years don't anyone thinks that is time for the player to have a more substantial presence in game?
A typical avatar icon selection some info or a bio. The possibilities are endless.
About the opening movie. Inferior F2play games have tons of videos pouring out constantly. 3D movies with action and eye catching properties that usually are a big promo opportunity for the game title. You can even make a live action one like the famous MW4 intro.
So please use some of the money you got from the packages to borrow, hire, steal a team of 3D animators to make you a movie 30 seconds long. I think the loyal player base that supports you for 3 years deserves it.

It should play at least once and then have the option in the User interface to replay over and over again. Right now you could even have it be the Promo videos that are produced by PGI. I personally believe that you'll get more "buy in" for CW if before you choose your faction you could watch a "Faction Promo" video for more immersion.

Yeah, totally agree. Just recall MW4 openning cinematics...
It would be nice to have your won, individual avatar as well, not one of the few available to everybody pictures.

BUT as MWO Player:
NO NO O! let PGI do first things first!
Of course a 3 d Lobby would be nice etc (but we are playing mwo - not starcitizen)
