It would be nice to be able take a mech from the STORE and prior to making the purchase, be able to play with the build and see how it can be outfitted. Not to sound crazy but how about even being able to save this build and take it to training grounds and see how it performs... kinda like a test drive when shopping for a vehicle.

An age old request, but always good to bring it back up. I'd love to see it happen.

You can edit a mech's loadout in the store now, so that's already nice. I'd like to see this feature too, but if it affect the mech's price people might strip the mech and buy the stripped mech for much less than the stock one. For IS, dropping the engine and weapons will give you a much cheaper chassis so if we can test run these mechs, we probably won't be able to buy the edited mechs but will buy the stock loadout mech.

I agree, when buying a mech, all players should purchase the same loadout for the same price... to keep things equal.

I never noticed you can now bring a 'store-mech' to the mech lab! That is AWESOME!

Great job PGI!
