3rd person? FOV slider? whats next , god mode? there are supposed to be blind spots, and obstructions when your looking out of a mech cockpit, and how bad they are depend on the mech.
Every time you turn around this game takes another step close to being a COD knockoff.

You know you have been able to do this in the User.cfg for a really, really long time right?

Somebody is actually pissed about fov sliders?

Arguably, larger fov =/= better. PGI was nice enough to have zoom negate fov, but in standard view, larger fov (like most games) makes it hard to discern distant objects/enemies. There you go. It's not going to ruin the game. Plus fov < 80 or 90 degrees makes some people sick.

well if you need 9-12 beers o get drunk you should stop drinking pißwasser and switch to something that can be called beer and not yellow water.

I don't think anyone is pissed at the FOV silder (okay, 'anyone other than the inevitable person going "THIS STOPPED THEM BRINGING OUT MY DAMANDS IT AM SUCK'), I just think a number of people didn't really get what it's for, tried it at 120, and then went 'wow.... that gave me a headache. why is it useful?' because they didn't know at that point why it's useful/how to use it.
