I've been out for a little while and sat down to drop into battle yesterday when I noticed something, my drop deck was overweight. I had a Stalker [85], a Jagermech 65, and two Hunchbacks [100], totaling 250, but I can only carry 240 now?
I don't mind the change, I'm just making sure I have my story straight before building new decks. If this is the case, I was thinking of 3 Hunchbacks and a Stalker, good idea?

It was 250 for a bit to test and then it reverted to 240, so 3x50's and an 85 is fine.

Yep, Clans won the Battle of Tukayyid so Comstar (PGI I guess) reasoned that IS routes needed to cut down on Dropship tonnage as a result of the heavy losses, so ta-da, IS back to 240.
One of the common decks is 2 35 tonners (RVN or FS9) and 2 85 tonners (Stalkers). Despite Quirk Pass II, the STK-4N is still strong, and there is debate between either the RVN-4X or RVN-2X to take for multiple LL. You could also use your current deck and upgrade a HBK to a GRF, SHD, or WVR, depending on what you have. As long as you have diverse loadouts for varying situations (or all the same loadouts that can handle almost all situations) and about 2-3 of those mechs literally designed to carry your team of teammates or pugs, you should do well. In any case, a 4J with LRM 10s and TAG (and supporting energy weapons) will probably suit you well in CW.

Makes sense, thanks for the information.
So I have my STK-4N, a Grid Iron, and a HBK-4P. Asking for opinions, which Hunchback variant would round out the deck the best?

4J has unique quirks if you like LRMs, 50% combined cooldown with LRM10.
Otherwise, I like the 4G best of the variants you don't own yet. Run it with an AC/20

I own the 4J and have been leaning towards buying a 4G, bu. I already had the GI. Are LRMs worth it in CW or would the 4G be better?

The preponderance of ECM in typical Clan dropdecks makes LRM use difficult. I think you'll find them tough to use effectively. The 4G was part of my dropdeck for awhile and I didn't regret it.
