Anyhow, started at 101, have gone steadily down from there. 234 now, I think.
My Medium MM Elo is on the downswing (20 matches, 1 win, only 3 that weren't 12-2 or 12-1 stomps.... and the one win was one of the stomps, lol. Most matches I got the only kill for our team).
But when I jumped into my Ilya (heavies being something I almost never play on this acct anymore) the MM has been much kinder with 30 or so matches mostly wins, and probably only 25% stomps one way or another. Went to bed at 33rd in it, dropped to 57th since then.
Ah well, not playing for the scoreboard this weekend, don't have 4 days to glue myself to the keyboard, skip showering, etc to prove I'm the "bestest at da videogame" (which I'm not, anyhow, lol). I'm here for the doubled cbills. My bank acct was getting a bit close to overdrawn.

I agree with him bishop. These tournaments are stupid, it should stop tracking your matches after the first 15 matches or so, so that it isnt a grindfest. If I had time to play 100 games I could probably get 10 that are 900-1200 damage. But the scoring system will drop the 0 kill 1 assist 67 damage game where I got one shotted, and all of the mediocre games where I scored a kill or two and 350 dmg.
Most of our 'champion' pilots, while skilled, grind like crazy to get the position that they have. Grinding tournaments are stupid.
They should also add 1v1s between all the top 20...

The point was not to show your skill or lack of skill therefore I said first match. After your first match you are going to be low on the list since they add upp instead of calculating average of ten matches especially if you are late to the party. The point was to get a rough estimation of how many Yen-Lo Wangs that are participating in total.

I could give a crap less abotu the leaderboard. It's the smarmy "oh I rip off 6oo dmg in every match, I'm so good" BS.
As for the event? Who gives a crap? I'm not playing for the leaderboard. But if I run one of these mechs, I get 50% more earnings. With premium, I double my earnings. So since I own them, it's a good time to dust them off, because why not? Heck, I even rediscovered that my Ilya can be pretty fun!
Would I buy a Hero just for this? No. Will I sit glued to my keyboard all weekend for the grand prize of epeen? No.
But I also am not doing the passive/aggressive posts bragging about how good I am.

On that, I'm 1,064.
What I can do to sort of help, is drop once in my TDK and X-5 to get the numbers for those to help too.

Oh I agree with you, but that guys post implied he hated the event style, not this thread. To be fair IDK why he was posting that here, but I agree with both of you I guess? **** this forum!
