just makes me wonder, why should I ever buy a mech package again when the only good enforcer isnt even included? I bet they do the same thing with other packages.

I wouldn't say its the only good Enforcer. I am find the 4R and 5D are very effective mechs. I am not sure where the Enforcer line falls in the meta or competitive game play, but 3 of the 4 chassis seem very good to me. And all are extremely fun to play. Which to me are two completely different things. My guess is the Enforcer just fits my play style pretty well and others may not enjoy them as much as I have.
That said I am struggling with the Zeus and Grasshoppers, although I have just started to figure out a few builds that I play decently well. The Panther is somewhere in the middle for me. At times I am great in it and others not so much.
I don't actually think the entire resistance package is bad, I actually think there are some pretty good mechs in there. But I also think having mostly laser hardpoints takes much more skill. Customizing the loadout and managing heat on laser boats is much harder, at least for me, than mixed platforms.
Wow, just realized I digressed. I was just going to say you most likely buy the packages just to get the mechs earlier than everyone else. LOL Sorry I am such a wind bag today!
But I'll keep going anyway! hahaha
I get packages mostly to get mechs early and to save on the CBills. I have to say the CBill grind for me, if I did not purchase the occasional package, would be insane. I calculated it out the other day and I get about 1million CBills about every 4 matches on average (with premium time, it 5 without it). Which I guess isn't too bad. So for every 45 mintues to an hour I play I get about a million. That means to purchase one mech for 5 million cbills it takes about 4-5 hours of play time. At least for me. So yep I'll use real money on occasion to buy a package.
