So, despite my current allegiance, I mainly pilot IS mechs but always wanted to try out the awesome firepower of the Dire Wolf and saved my C-Bills until I could afford not one but four.
Now I am close to mastering the last one of them and think about freeing at least two mechbays. Since the Omnipod systems allows for largely interchangeable builds I am only asking myself now which of the CTs or Chassis basis' to keep.
The "S"-Variant has a single JJ, which I rather tend to like for the boost in maneuverability. One Variant has an addtioinal energy hardpoint in the CT, Prime- and A-Variants give 5% Yaw-rate quirk.
What do you guys think/use/suggest?

i think that maybe you have answered your own question.
You already said you want to keep the JJ CT
so do you want a lazor or better movement for #2?

W and S are the most unique of the Dire CT choices and between them you can use any dire build that is possible.
