I really doubt that even a single person over at PGI have ever done any UI design prior to MWO.

Seeing all the ways this could be improved just makes me appreciate other games that much more, because I've never really thought about all the thought that goes into making a good, scalable UI. I've just taken it for granted, because it seemed so intuitive and natural, like they made that sh*t in ten minutes because it was the only obvious way of doing it.

Same with Smurfy too, by the way. Even the Mechbay function on Smurfy is just so simple and elegant.
