I really don't like the menu drop down clickfest, so here's my suggestion:



It's what makes sense to me, and hopefully looks and works much more user friendly.
If you like this, poke Russ until he's seen it. (Then poke him more for fun)

Seems like people only want to complain and not actually want an improvement in the mech lab.
