Is this the guy or not? Looking up pilot accounts seems much harder than it used to be. I want to know account creation date and any forum posts made under that name.

yeah, forum pilot searches seems broken. I can't search for anyone anymore...

If he doesn't log into the forums you won't find him. A buddy of mine whose account predates mine is unsearchable as he avoids these forums like the plague.

I can't even find them as a pilot. He has posted, that's the only way to actually get to his profile page for me, by finding a post of his, then clicking on his name...

They wont cheat again if they did in the first place.

Guys with drunk driving convictions still feel pretty good about their odds of being caught, so …

Could be a new account and he's never actually posted. I know if I was a known cheater I wouldn't advertise being back, though using a variation of the known-cheater name is pretty moronic.

I guess the real question was WAS he actually cheating? If he was, **** it. Let him. Let him make a new account, buy some new toys, then get banned again. PGI wins either way

Get over it. Shouldn't be an issue as long as the account stays clean...detection is in place.

Funny he/she can come back so easily if it is in fact him/her.

you know paid hack subscriptions probably work out how they were detected and then change. It's a game of "cat and mouse" as one of the hackers came forward on Reddit put it. There is really NO way you can trust the same player again. Hack could simply not be detected again using the same method as before. So what? They are allowed to keep playing until the new hack is detected? NO

In before thread lock!

Seriously though, it's not surprising that someone managed to circumvent the rules. What Unit is he dropping with?

Well I agree in principle, but to come back with the same name implies that he is in no way ashamed of what he did. Speaks volumes, and is to be expected really.

Hah! Yes because people reform all the time.

Cheaters will always cheat again. It's like a drug.

Especially when they suddenly are much worse at the game they used to dominate

My take on cheaters is that they have really empty lives with nothing generating pride or happiness for them, so, they cheat to get an artificial high. Getting banned will not change the underlying cause of cheating... they'll just pop up again like a dandelion.

I know how the game works with hacks but you assume the individual is back to continue hacking. I am on the inside know pertaining this individual. The person already came clean on reddit shortly after the bans hit so is a lynch mob necessary if it even is the person you think it is? Someone could have made the name to troll others and it not even be them for all any of you really know. Plenty of known players have had troll accounts made with their namesake likenesses.

So my point stands that detection is in place and just like any other game it's PGIs responsibility to kep the game as clean as they can.
