It was so much easier to select a different mech inbetween battles using the mechlab before this patch, it also showed them all in fron t of you without the need for 3 or four keystrokes. I avoided the "select mech" portion of the UI specifically because of this..... Does it have to stay this way???

Yeah...i just tried to be positive and give it another try, you have to press save just to select another mech....this is really annoying, and im not trying to troll.

My favorite feature of the previous 'Mechlab (compared to the initial one) was that I could overview all of my 'Mechs at a glance. I am lost now...

I agree with all of the above. The only problem I had with the old mechlab was trying to locate the overpriced modules. That could have been accomplished with a simple popup when clicking on a mech. As far as I'm concerned, you can send the new mechlab to the bit bucket.

It's a bit better if you sort by class instead of chassis (default), at that point it's basically like the old way, though with less data available.

Yeah, on my monitor it's not tiny but I've seen screen shots of others where it clearly was. The windows should all be resizable and movable.

I agree. Worst way to see mechs and select them....

I agree! Vey confusing! And the amount of clicks I have to make to get to my mech of choice and to make changes to my mech! Man, you need to be some genius to grasp this mechlab!

One thing we can ALL agree on is that we Tweak and change our mechs configs all the time.
I Love the expanded layout, this really lets me see everything, Except quirks.....have to open another window that Overlays On the expanded screen.......QUIRKS.......Are Very important in mech selection in my opinion. I have a TDR-5SS, and a TDR-9S, they both look IDENTICAL in mech select.
I know the difference but at a glance they are the same, and I may have RE-configured one and not remember which has what quirks.
After this Patch, I am almost asking myself if the Developers Even Play this game....?......If it's not Broken don't remove it. the Main mech selelct was Fine, showed everything almost. Please bring back the main select screen and Please KEEP the New Expanded mode. that together will be very nice.
Thanks

Im quite sure they dont, just look at all the obviuos broken mechs/cammos in the mechlab e.g. Orion (knee) Hunchback (arms, cammo) plenty of clan mechs lacking cammo on ther backs (crusader pattern), vindicator (cammos , some 3 cannel cammos use only 2 channle) and so on... and those are just the thing one could see in seconds (not to rant about the various degrees of quality on the newer cammos)
So i say they cant speend much time in the mechlab/selection and actually use it, try it, IMPROVE it.
finaly somtghing positiv, no cokpit glass, and bigger filed of view .

After playing around with the new Mechlab, I found the feature where you can build a mech before you buy it. Now if only you could see the total price of your build and an option to buy it already configured would be a nice touch.
