You gotta dumb it down a little PGI. It's obviously to hard for people to learn new things. So give them....

Nope! In UI3.0 you simpy think what you want and the Mechlab will do the opposite!

Really, id much rather take a mechlab like smurfy. Its got the mech laid out in a sensible fashion, easily readable, I know right where what is going. Idk how to explain it, but I just like SMurfy, its like the ideal mechlab, id love to be able to make my mech in smurfy and export it to MWO....Smurfy is like perfect, PGI just needs to pay Smurfy designers for the design and import it into MWO....its just....perfect really.

THe list in UI2.0 and the new one its just confusing sometimes.

Is that so...?

looks like you are a good learner.

let me give you an advice... if you happen to have a car, do not try to learn new things when you just picked it up from the service shop and are hearing weird noises from the engine... its broke you know.

/sarcasm

its not the mechlab people are complaining about... it is the mech select menu (which is NOT NEW ) that has been in game for a couple of months... but it is so cumbersome, no one even knows it has been there all along.

"No one even knows it has been there all along."

I knew it was there. I used it too.

Kinda sad that this Apache Helicopter would probably destroy any of the Mechs that we currently fight.. Hellfire Missile alone has a range of 8 Km...

In RL all it would take is a Bradley's Bushmaster firing some special 25mm Cannon shell, laser range finder and track the cockpit and poppopoppopopopopp....dead pilot, worthless, waste of 150 million or however much they would be....

Mech with AMS laughs at Hellfire. Sorry, try again.

(plus, it's quite possible the Hellfire qualifies around SRM damage... you're not going to penetrate the cockpit armor with a single one of those without a through-armor crit)

i dont consider this ui 3.0. i consider it UI 2.1, perhaps 2.2 if you get rid of some more redundancy. ui 3.0 would indicate that the upgrade was complete.

Have you tried following the instructions to use the expanded view? It looks pretty smurfy like to me ... the reason it is not the default is because it requires a minimum screen resolution to run properly. These instructions are copied from the first page of the patch notes.

http://mwomercs.com/...00-02-jun-2015/

---------------

The Expanded view allows you to view and customize nearly all aspects of your 'Mech loadout in a single screen, without having to view by individual components.
  • To use the Expanded view, select it from the Layout dropdown inside the Warehouse window
    • Please note that the Expanded view of MechLab requires a minimum resolution of 1600x900

the railgun is actually more powerful and modern tech that is actually used in mechwarrior (starships have railguns).. the Schwerer Gustav is incredibly inaccurate. it would honesty have the same effect as a long tom. so you can have the behemoth the fires once every half hour..

accuracy is overrated with 7 ton bullet :P
