AND THE IMPORTANT PART: THE NICKNAME YOU WILL GIVE IT AND WHY.


Ok, so if you were able to get ONE mech in the universe that will be your main mech trought the whole game, with others players who got there own mechs.


What mech would it be, and most of all, what would you choose for his name?


Personatly, it would be the Dire Wolf: Nickname "Grimlock".

Grimlock is an Iconic character of the Transformers Franchise, yeah... Sadly the same franchise that Micheal Bay pretty much destroyed. (F*ck you MB!)

He is one of the most dangerous warrior you can find in the universe and can transform into a motherfreaking T-Rex!



Being one of the most resilient and powerful transformers. He is also a bit slow. And in some incarnation, he is a complete idiot. "Me Grimlock No Bozo! ME KIINNG!"


Due to it's awesomeness and it's strenght, it always reminded me of the Dire Wolf who is basicly the T-Rex of the Battlemechs, a King among the Kings.

as much as i love cute foxes i'm way more useful for my team in a doomcrow, so it would probably be my scr-prime named 'silly crow', after the aesop's fable

hm, i should find some time and to draw an ascii crow to add to my sig (that fox is drawn by me too so they would be in the same style)... and a piece of cheese to the fox's mouth (:

Well, if I had to choose a clanner mech for a name, I'd definitely use my kitfoxes under the guise of, "Underdog"
Nobody expects you to carry in a kit fox. .

For my money, it's a real pity that PGI has made a game where all mechs are intended to be nearly equal. I mean, I think all mechs should be equal if you're going to allow people to choose any mech in the game. But I really would have liked a version of MWO where the Dire Wolf was every bit as terrifying as it's supposed to be. A game where you really **** your pants if you saw one of those guys coming towards you. Where only the most elite players and most powerful units could gather the resources to field a Dire Wolf.

What we have now is ok, but it's kind of sad to see the Dire Whale as a big brute that needs to be hand-held by its team to be effective.

I think my mech would be either RVN-3L "Munnin" or AWS-8Q "Hyperion". For my Clan account, I'd go with the Shadowcat Prime. I don't know what I'd call that one.

Also, I designed an 'anything goes' tournament mech a while back with two maces (double the damage of hatchets), ECM, hardened armour, a supercharger, TSM, 5 MLAS. He was called "El-Kabong" and he was hilariously lethal. 80 or so damage at 1 hex.

I wish we had melee. And TSM. And superchargers, maces and mixed tech.

I think it means "The Leader" or something...Since, Fandragon is the Leader of the KRL, my made up Army. My actual mech is a Vulture MK IV with the same name....

It's fast, it can fly, and carries any weapon system. The cockpit is pretty sweet too.

it doesn't really differ from player names which are mostly appropriate

they definitely should increase the length of mech names btw, 12 letters is too few

In MWO it's hard to go past the Storm Crow because of its broken hit boxes and sheer variety of loadout options.

Nickname: "Barbie" because the way some guys give their Mechs cute names make me think they may have played with dolls when they were kids

It's probably my favorite mech in Battletech, shame it has never appeared in any video game ( i was really hoping for it and Goliath to show up in Mechwarrior: Tactics, but alas, my dream was crushed along with the development of the game)

I'd probably use the Quickdraw 4G - named "Outlaw".
