I pre-ordered a Clan Wave 3 pack, like I did with the Wave 1; but, when wave 1 was released, there were only 3 variants of each chassis, whereas in Wave 3 there are 4. Has PGI come out and say which 2 of the 3 non-prime variants we'll be getting in our packs? Do we get to choose, since there are 3 now?

I've re-read the FAQ and pre-order pages, and nothing in there specifies which mechs we're actually getting.

If my memory isn't failing (which it might) we get all four variants.

You get 4 if you're an early adopter, which I'm sure I'm not.

Well I know I didn't order soon enought to get all 4 variants so there will be 1 that I won't be getting.

Would really like to know which one I don't get.

You are correct. The early adopter reward is the 4th variant (you had to have preordered in the first 3 weeks) so unless you did that you only get the first 3 variants and have to wait for the 4th variant to release for cbills. The extra 4th variant is always the variant farthest to the right on the Wave 3 screen.

Which would suck a little for me because I actually want that one on 2 chassis. I suppose it's not a big deal if they make all the omni-pods available at release, instead of waiting til the whole chassis is available for c-bills.

Hence the preorder incentive. It was likely by design to incentivize buying early by putting some of the best omnipods behind the early adopter program. I do not think you will be allowed the 4th variant omnipods until cbill release but i may be wrong. Pretty sure I read somewhere that early adopters simply get one copy of the 4th chassis omnipods and that's it and they too have to wait until cbill release to get more of those omnipods as well. I'd look around to find my source but the release is only a couple weeks away so we'll find out soon enough anyways.

looks like you get the Prime, A, and B variants of each...the others are the extra variants early adopters get

It's correct. An sucks you won't get them. I remember laughing about the preorder variants being quite useful. It's what prompted me to get the ACH preordered so as to get the maximum laser vomit out of the mech.

I believe you wont get ACH-C, SHC-P, EBJ-C and EXE-D.
