So Solaris VII has a series of mechs associated with it, and i was thinking about them being released like the pre-orders when the arena mode comes out. There are a few problems with this though...
1- Melee, a huge part due to weapons used by these mechs is currently useless.
2- All of the "official" solaris mechs are currently ahead of our time line, leading to advance tech that is not in game at the moment.
3- Most of these Mechs outside of our current time have a wait time that not only outspans the game's life time, but even some of the livetimes of players.
So here is what i propose; when solaris is released time periods are ignore unless the equipment on the mech is edvanced enough to require programing for equipment other than weapons. Some weapons may be switched out for one already ingame if close enough to one already in game: for example, x-pulse lasers would be replaced with normal pulse lasers. Mechs requiring melee will also be ignored until the feature is implemented. This may lead to low amounts of wieght classes so PGI may need to single release some. I also think these mechs should get income bonuses when used on solaris much like hero and champion mechs do in other game modes. Please leave imput and give ideas for PGI. I leave you with a list of Solaris VII mechs that may be useable and their weights.
