My idea is simply to host an event where players have to use mechs that belong to a faction. The Zeus for the Steiners, Victor for the Davions, etc. If you accumulate enough points you'll be rewarded with corresponding faction items. Banners, Warhorn, paint, etc.

An alternative could be that you get a cbill bonus due to your faction having those mechs available normally and not as salvage.

I'd like that: each faction has a specific Mech for the weekend that grants 20 - 50% cbills.

Addition, the faction that takes the most planet's receives a a big loyalty bonus, 500 MC & faction camo. Some reward big enough to strive for is the basic point.

Top tier reward could be a free mech or faction warhorn.

I'm thinking Mechs, that way battles would be somewhat lore friendly. Hero mechs, if applicable, would also get an extra bonus.

We had events like that a while back. They rotated through all IS factions while they were leading up to the clan mech release. What we got was a sale on that faction's mechs, and paints for the duration of the event. I think they can do the same, but tweak them a bit more.

An additional idea would be that you get a loyalty bonus for using faction appropriate mechs.

I don't have the field manuals with the mech lists, otherwise I'd make a thread with them. Actually, I think there's a thread around that has the faction specific mechs listed. I'll see if I can find it.

The clan pretty much share most mechs and there isn't enough for each clan to get individual rewards.

This event needs a name. How about, "Show your Colors"? Or maybe "Mechwarrior: Mech Harder" lol.
