Hey Guys,

I've owned a Masakari collection for a while and up until recently wasn't digging the whole $260 extra dollars for a gold mech. Well..against my better judgment I'm now curious about buying one.

My only problem is I can't seem to find anyone on the forum who has successfully converted an existing Masakari collection over to a gold package. Whenever I go to check out it wants to charge me the full $500. I'm wondering if I need to let the billing department refund my existing Masakari collection first or if I need to buy the gold package first. Also, what happens to any of the mechs I've customized in the Masakari collection I currently own?

Any current gold mech owners that can answer my question? I've already submitted a ticket to the billing department yesterday but I doubt their going to respond before they close at 5:00.

P.S. No flaming me for considering to buy a gold mech, I happen to like helping fund this game so we can all enjoy playing it. Not to mention PGI has improved a lot recently.

Which gold mech are you going for? The correct answers are the Warhawk, Summoner or Adder.

The Dire Wolf, I enjoy piloting lights and mediums more, but I have a Dire Wolf build that wrecks face so bad (2.50+ KD, 500-700 Avg Damage) that having it in gold camo would be sick, lol.

Good luck! As I'm sure you're aware, gold Dire Wolves are pretty much everybody's favourite target. For whatever reason, childish or otherwise, some people just love going after gold mechs. And the gold Dire Wolf isn't exactly hard to spot, or hard to chase. I've seen several gold DW owners say they hardly ever use it, because it's such a bullet magnet.

I had to refund mine and then purchase the gold pack, but this was forever ago when they were still pre-orders. No idea if that would work now.

Also go Kit Fox or Nova. I have literally never seen a gold one of either. Haven't seen anyone else with a gold Adder either.

Yeah, I have no doubt my K/D will drop when I pilot it, It'll be no different when people see TheB33f in game and he suddenly becomes a trophy everyone wants to kill.
