Ok I am new to the game. Was thinking about getting a Ader light with a rail gun. What do you guys think. Like a fast sniper.

I like the Gauss Adder, I will like it even more when that flamer becomes unfixed. In the meantime, consider dropping half a ton of Gauss ammo if the low leg armor bothers you.

Also, Smurfy is a good site to know.

the ADR isnt really a Fast Light but more of a Small Medium,
if you try to play it like a Fast Light you could be in allot of trouble,
that said its a fun Mech but better for Hit and Runs instead of Sniping,

if you want a Moble semiFast sniper for KFX,
ECM and JJ make it abit more Viable at a distance,

I'll always take the kit fox over Adder. Much more weapon diversity. Much more fun to play.

I don't think you will be able to carry very much ammo. There are a lot of PPC builds if you want to snipe. The adder isn't very fast either. Might as well go with a stormcrow. Just as fast and can carry more ammo.

You mean a Gauss? Here is a build I quickly made in Smurfy. As you can see it can be done and have back up weapons also. As for how well it would perform, no idea.
