I was just poking around on Russ's profile and I noticed he joined Nov 01, 2011. Where as alot of the members have joined on Oct 31, 2011.
I missed it by 1 day, but I must say it would have been pretty cool to say that you joined before the dev, in the future that is.

31-October 11 here.
I came all the way back from the 25th century to play a game set in the 31st century. Wasn't going to miss the first day on the forums ;D.

thats right, been a part of mechwarrior for over 20 years now. forum dates are moot when you are this hardcore.

Feb 2012? What is that all about? How can you call yourself a fan if you arn't surfing the web on a daily basis looking for the next great MW thing. I am embaressed to say, it took me a whole week to find MWO. Geez.

I just joined this site after having the guts to try MWO. I've been playing MW2 since 1996 and I'm a bit weary of online gameplay out of the fear of being disappointed like I was with MW3 and most of the newer Mech games that were released. I'm studying up a lot on this and I think I like what I've been seeing. Hopefully when I get it up and running it'll be worth it.

31st Oct. I saw the news article on the Escapist, and jumped straight onto the new forum.
Or rather, I saw the news article alert posted in IRC, which means I got to it before anyone else, because I am such a rabid fangirl.
But join dates can be changed. On the Escapist, Kross likes messing about with things like join dates, post counts, etc. I haven't paid much attention to this site due to lack of internet for a while, so I'm not sure how insane some of the admins are, and the kinda things they do here.

I see you guys who claim to have 31st OCT dates as 1st NOV though ... I wonder if it's an adjusted time difference thing on my side. Does my read 1st NOV or 31st OCT to posters further west?

West Coast USA here, and your user info says "01-November 11" for me. I cut & pasted my date from my user info. If it says 01-November 11 for you, I guess that just sums up how silly this thread is

ya I have to say I was disappointed with every MW game after MW1 from way back around 1990s.... I did have fun with them all, but had no real replay Value for me... Mecommander-2 I think I did at least 2 playthroughs tho
