For example, something to do with using jump-jets can make you take command. No idea what it is, but the bug still exists. There are also bugs that cause you to lose command.

OP, I don't know how you are losing it. But sometimes I end up with it for some reason midway through a match on occasion.
Probably a bug of some sort.

I found issuing orders by typing harder but more players listen. As lots of players do not know how to use battle map.
Also issued same suggestions when not taking command with similar results. Sadly hit & miss with PUG matches.
What I found funny with one player who did not listen and did his own thing, complaining about lack of support during the fight. When most of the team listened to what I had to say and we won.
Go figure.

Now while we're on the topic, I'd like to ask one thing, when you issue commands you have 3 options to put: alpha, bravo and charlie. Now I've been using up to all three at once, to mark important locations or more precise flanking waypoints, now I don't know if all the pugs can see all three commands at once or are these meant you have to put them for each lance seperately? Because I remember only seeing 1 company command on the map at the time whenever I receieved them.

While voting is great (yay democracy), once the match gets underway (in just a few seconds for lights)...

You don't even need jump jets. Mash the jump jet button the right (or wrong?) way and it automatically gives you lance command, or unit command, or takes it away. Just a bug.
