I build I found effective for the Nova is 12 ER Small Lasers, a targeting computer, and as many heatsinks as humanly (or mechly) possible. Then, get real close, and fire them 6 at a time. While it may get hard to control on hot maps, that build can wreck.

I will agree the MM was **** this weekend i think because of all the carry matches it was handing out coupled with people poaching to get on top of the leaderboards.

Word of the wise, dont play during event weekend unless you plan on taking part in the event. I learned this many weeks ago and have been having a great time since. If a weekend event goes on i play PoE or War Thunder and just say "forget about it!" Honestly the derp get very strong on the event weekends and such, so much that i was at the exact same place as you are right not Saturday night....

Non of my unit plays much anymore so its just me carrying derps, if i take a fun mech myself i am guaranteed loss after loss to be handed to me.

Game was better about 5 months ago, either my ELO changed or the MM changed. Either way i agree it sucks....best way around the MM is to find 11 other guys you trust and know what they are doing. I thought i figured that part out but having 3 or 4 guys a night on from a 100+ pilot unit is pretty sad.

Hopefully PGI finds a way to make this game fun again....soon.
