It's also surprisingly stealthy in that first pic, for being neon orange and green, it almost blenda into that wall XD
I was worried from the original model reveal that the legs would be too long... But I'm happy to see they bent them more :3 It's still 60% legs, but damn it looks fine ;3 (the sexy kind of fine... Not the adequate kind of fine)
The Koala is surprisingly gaunt o.o Much more open space than, say, the atlas. A lot of enemy fire is going to pass between the arms and torso on that baby!

All right. A few pants changes later...
The Executioner actually looks like it might have less overall torso area than the Garfayle (scale dependent, of course), though it makes up for that with a crotchplate the size of Bermuda. It's also got highly puny arms that won't be much good for shielding, RA pauldron aside, but which also might remain attached to the 'Mech until the end, unlike things such as Novas or Mist Lynxes. A very great deal is going to depend on hitbox allocation for that design, methinks...but the overall geometry looks acceptable if not amazing. The torso MGs on the (I) look to be mounted high enough to be good if not high enough to be stellar, though those arm guns are defo knuckle-dragger mounts.
I think it's got potential, but a lot is going to depend on intangibles or factors we can't see from screenshots, such as M.A.S.C. performance.
As for dat Cauldron-Born...
Ladies and gentlemen, unless the scaling is truly atrocious, we have a winner. The frontal profile on that thing is almost svelte - yeah, it's got bits sticking out all over the place, but the torso itself looks to be pretty slim overall. Wide, so it'll still catch fire, but flat enough that it might actually start being an advantage. Those skyhook hardpoints on the torso are every bit as orgasmic as we all hoped they would be. The arms are wide as hell which discourages brawling to some extent but also helps corner-peeking, and look to be about Stormcrow-height to the cockpit so they'l be able to clear hills pretty well as well. Hell, even the 'low-mount' cERML on the Prime is a nose gun. In fact it's kind of an amazing nose gun, high up and very close to centerline, for some real "if you can see it you can shoot it" action.
The whole thing is so flattened above the waist that even though you'll have to "expose half the 'Mech" to get the arm guns into play over vertical cover, pulling the 'Mech back down behind cover after unloading should take a step or two at most. It's the ultimate hull-down machine. The only part of a Cauldron_Born you're ever going to see is the part of it that kills you.
SO GOOD. SO MUCH WANT.
