First 5 event matches => 5x Heat sinks.

Guessing heat sink drop chance is gonna be a 95% chance and a 5% chance of anything else?

Best way I found to get a better average is to save up. Then do a whole bunch in a row.

I did the 32 free ones for wave 3 at lunch and only got 5 sinks out of the 32. So you could be right.

Nevermind, didn't realize that the "cool off" button wasn't actually the heat sink?

Must press buttons.

The best way I found to get a better average is to write "Praise Paul" on the walls in my own feces. Then do a whole bunch in a row.

You really think PGI made the random algorithm work like that? As if it matters whether you open a whole bunch in a row or one at a time?

No, I don't actually think so, but when you open them in bunches the "good" free stuff tends to outweigh the "bad" free stuff unless, of course, your luck is so bad that you should consider staying indoors for the foreseeable future for fear of being hit by a meteor.

I don't think PGI could write an algorithm like that.

Gambler's fallacy, "I lost last time so this one must be a winner". Watch the losers at the slot machines if you want to see where that logic leads you.

It depends on how they wrote it. It could be 100% random. But it was more rare for me to get doubles; If i did 1 after every game I would get a lot more items of.the same type in a row. This could be good or bad. It was my guess they give items out in a "list" with a random amount.
