Frequently I find that an opponent doesn't have any obvious tell-tale signs of a ballistic or missile discharge. It's like I just get hit by magic ordnance.

I do realize that sometimes I'm taking damage from my flanks or rear...but sometimes it's the guy im looking at during my brawl, because it couldn't have come from any place else.

Sometimes it is difficult to tell from where any incoming fire is coming from, friendly or foe.

I believe the indicator we have now only shows which part of the mech is taking damage. It doesn't really tell from which direction incoming fire is coming from. Sometimes I find myself spinning in circles trying to find the location from where the incoming fire is coming from.

PGI should also have friendly incoming fire indicator too. MW4 had blue friendly incoming fire indicator, and of course red for the enemy.

Friendly fire indicator would be nice

The missile discharge is easy enough with visuals (like, you have to be looking every witch way like a madman).

The ballistic requires you to understand the HUD damage indicator, and figuring out where the attack is coming from through the paperdoll. Chances are though, most Gauss mechs tend to peek and hide, but it's not that hard to figure out "relative" location.

I've faced off with a dual-Gauss King Crab in a brawl. I could see him aiming and I was taking the gauss damage, but his guns never had the tell-tale sparks come off his gun. I was getting the thuds and high damage though.

I woud love to see some muzzle flash from some of these UAC's.. would also help identify who is firing at you in some of these low visibility maps (Bog, looking directly at you)

Yeah? Why aren't muzzle flashes more telling in the hazy maps...you have to figure all the methane coming out of the Bognwould make for especially vibrant muzzle flashes.

You've set your graphics too low probably (I assume it's connect to particles).

I see it when brawling though.

I usually see it, that's how I knew I wasn't :)

I'll bump some more settings up next time I'm on.
