Spotting.
Maybe TAG or UAV or maybe NARC. I think they give assists too.

I think this guy deserves an award!

I've seen people get multiple kills with 1 point of damage before. My guess is machine guns...badly aimed machine guns.

MGs do 0.08 damage per projectile. If he has a fast enough trigger finger, he could get 12 assists with 1 point of damage ;)

I saw a guy get 2 kills with 7 damage.

Buried somewhere on this forum is a screenshot of a guy getting 2 kills with 1 whole point of damage.

No doubt its collision damage. Two people bumped against him doing very minor leg damage that still counts as damage for the spider.

Assuming the guy was afk all match, he could've "bumped" into two mechs (it's the other way around, but it sounds better this way) and eventually they died.

It's real.

Do the match scores subtract team damage now, maybe?

Doubtful. The one I'm talking about was a couple years ago though.
