...because they are too similar to Timberwolf's so you can just transfer your Timby build here without much hassle. I just tried building my future EBJ but just stopped since it's not so exciting because of this fact.

BTW you can't build small (pulse) lasers + SRMs here (Laser Brawler build) but you can put 2 or 3 MGs with a ton of ammo on almost any of your build (for what it's worth).

When you can equip Dual Gauss/CUAC20 or Triple CUAC5 on your Timbie and with enough ammo to last the fight, you let me know.

Or Triple/Quad CLRM20/ACLRM15 for the Missile Massacre build.

well it's definitely false
you can have plenty of 4 missile launchers + energy/ballistic builds on timber cat but for ebon jag if you want 4 launchers you only have 2 ballistic slots extra (and also it needs the bonus ebj-c version)

Well... what else were you hoping for?

It looks to me like it's going to specialize as a mobile sniper, rather than a brawler, which is fine my me.

If you want the versatility of a MadCat... just drive your MadCat.

Yeah, one thing we can appreciate is that those 3 instead of 5 locked DHS give us a ton for those heat efficient builds.

If you are doing a quad M on your EBJ then you can only put one energy weapon (if that's what you want).

Yeah I've mentioned this that you can't build small lasers + SRMs loadout.

True, EBJ's design (hunker down gunner) is the opposite of EXE's (brawler).

I suppose one can can simply equip the EBJ-A left torso with the EBJ-C and get Triple ACRLM15 + three energy slots. Which is plenty enough for back up. The torso hardpoints are pretty high mounted, though the LRM torso is gonna be vulnerable.

That's a pretty decent one. If I were to drop with that config I'll probably do:

• 3x cLRM15+A on RA, RT, and LA + 6.5 tons of ammo (20 tons)
  
• 1x cTAG on LT (1 tons)
  
• 2x cERLL on LT (8 tons)
  
• Total = 29 tons
