Thanks for all the people that came before us that discovered, immigrated and built, fought and defend what we call America today. A sincere thank you for those that server in the armed forces that help to keep US that way.

Though this has little meaning for me and others living on this side of the world, but I wish you folks to have a great independence day.

Without this day we would never have one of Will Smith's biggest movies.

For those over seas, America is the melting pot for the rest of the world, but i guess many of you can not see that. Many people join US Armed forces to earn their citizen ship here, but many really ignore that. LOL as part English. German, Libyan and Black Foot Indian I'm still proud to be part of this country.

Strangely those people from other countries rarely open topics about their national holidays, especially not in the wrong forum section.

One of the greatest aspects of being an American is being able to shove our culture down the rest of the world's throats...so in that spirit, GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

True and the 4th of July is a celebration not of the American Govt. but of the Spirit and the people who originally gave their lives to free America from British rule(amongst other things).

Which I know that a lot of countries have similar celebrations as well and everyone whould respect them even if they aren't from that country.
