Banned Cheaters Coming Back

I read one's blog where she says she's already back under a new name.
I heard another in VIOP comms a few days ago - sorry but after watching the match vid where she wallhacks banshees, its a very unmistakable voice.
Should we report names to PGI or just let the cheaters play?

- I was behind cover from all enemies.
- I was not NARCed.
- they had no hidden spotters, I checked.

I doubt they want to lose that much money again... but if they do, and get caught again, more free money for PGI!

If not...well, they have first-hand evidence of what happens to cheats. They want to play that game again? I'll continue to wave as they get tossed out over and over for the same offense.
EDIT: Whoops, forgot to hit on this

This shouldn't happen, unless the girlfriend's account was also utilizing the cheats, in which case tough cookies for her. If we let people whose accounts show active cheats come back because "Oh I didn't know! It was my boyfriend's computer!", then we may as well just not ban anyone for cheating in the first place.
That said, PGI bans accounts and not IPs or other machine identifiers for specifically this reason. They don't want to dragnet things and catch innocent folks up in it. This really is a case of PGI - and I myself, for that matter - preferring to let a hundred cheaters get away with their shenanigans rather than risk one single innocent account getting the axe. I believe that is in fact their stance, so girlfriends innocent of wrongdoing should be good. Girlfriends guilty of wrongdoing, even by accident, can take it up with their douchebag boyfriends.

PGI's stance directly from PGI. A mod should sticky that somewhere, I foresee it coming up regularly.

There is no known cheat that allows people to lock you under those circumstances.
Simplest explanation is that you missed a UAV or distant spotter with ECM and sensor range extenders.

This sums it up as far as I'm concerned.

Best thing would be that PGI creates a hardwired solution to this.

Assuming she was telling the truth and not just throwing her boyfriend under the bus you mean.
Frankly, she was a real pain on the forums. The fact that she used hacks to cheat her way up the Leaderboards was also a nuisance. If she's back, then she'll be an even bigger pain than before.

It's highly more likely your situational awareness was lacking.
