"an Error Occurred" (Unknown Failure)

I have been playing for most of the day. But tonight, after after the launcher loads, I'm unable to connect to main client.

It says "Connecting" for a half minute or so, then says "An Error Occurred" (Unknown Failure).

Any ideas what could be going wrong?

It came good again after a half hour. Must have been aliens.
