Many of us like to identify, and then complain about, every last flaw within MWO - so why not take a moment to point out what PGI is doing RIGHT, not wrong? This weekend marks my return to MWO after a short while (life happens sometimes). Having installed possibly numerous patches, it is clear to me that PGI is listening to the community. Sure, it may take them a little while to implement any requests we have (dare I mention the smurfy style 'Mech lab) but we are seeing progress. Very few of us actually understand what it takes to develop any aspect of a video game, let alone the entire thing, so we can't just assume that any suggestion we have will only take PGI a day or two and a hotfix to deploy. Bottom line: if we look at the historical data of this game, and the progress we have seen, we need only be a little patient with the devs to see awesomeness. (If you are reading this and you are now angry, try your hardest to be mature and let it go without rage posting. Otherwise, please leave a positive note)

Well said! I agree there is far too much negative, not enough positive being focused on.

Fact is, the people that are angry/raging are almost always more vocal and loud than the folks that aren't. :(

Well said Sir! Though I can be critical of decisions made by PGI, some of the things they've done recently have been very well done indeed. Here are a few things that I've thought were well done:
  • Banning of cheaters.
  • Slight nerf to the Stormcrow and Timberwolf.
  • New mech selection UI and new mechlab.
  • Anticipated re-working of some early maps.
  • Production of competitive new mechs to bring some much needed diversity to clan drop decks.
So on these counts I'd say well done PGI.

The negative image stuck because of the years of slow updates and questionable decisions and many people are slow to forgive and forget about that.

Just ask SC forums.

That said, I am satisfied at the progress made so far, although I still wish PGI could speed up updates a bit more.

Diversity to clan drop decks? buff existing clan mechs some more. buff CLan weapons so more are really worth taking.....UAC shot speed was a nice change, but more is needed for those things.
