I didn't check the case out past the small pic on the web site, but its a mid tower, and I m pretty sure its not the best around for air flow.... I could be wrong, I will have to look at detailed pics on the egg to see for sure.

Looking at that case for a mid tower you have decent airflow. Front has two pusher fans with one covering the hard drives and the other pushing air to the video/CPU. There is an upper rear exhaust and space on top for the liquid cool. If you need there are two fan spots in the side door to add additional fans.

On second thought, after looking on Amazon and newegg at the windowed version of that case, it will do just fine for good air flow. IF you are gonna use SSD drives only, you might be able to pull the hard drive cage out and that would give you even better air flow. Not sure, but that case my not give you that option, but either way, it looks like a good case for your hardware.

That is a very nice case, and i believe it can have the hard drive bays pulled out if you want to increase air flow. The other case is fine though, either way both are nice case's. If size or cash is a factor for you then go with the mid tower, if not I would take the full tower. I have to be honest though, If I wasn't so dead set on building my own cases by hand,

This one is the one I would pick up.

Now if only I could order these all at once from PC Piker instead of having to do it iindividually at each merchants site.

Yeah, I hear you it is a pain when you order from several sources for sure. I try to keep my build parts coming from around 4 sources,

Newegg for almost all main parts, CPU, motherboards, GPU's, ram, drives, monitors. This has really been the norm here lately because they built a new hub in Indy and most main parts come from this new location, and it hits my door step in 1 day even when using egg saver 3-5 day shipping for free. :D

Micro Center for Motherboard CPU and even cases and ram, PSU's, bundles because I head up through Chicago at times, and I just can't pass up the deals. Its like a crack store for a computer addict! :D

Tiger direct in a pinch, and I used to use FrozenCPU for my water cooling part mainly, but not anymore since the owner is a thief and the melt down happened back in Feb. of this year. I don't care what happens with them, open back up, new owners... I will never place another order with them ever again!

I also use a company called Mountain Mod's and love them, very good place to pick up custom water cooling parts.

Until being on this forum, I had never even heard of PCpartspicker, lol.

As for your choice on the hard drive, I have a lot WD blacks in my rigs, and have to say I love them. I have 640gbs ones that I used to put in raid0 back in the day. However, I wouldn't use them for a Raid0 setup, I had them fail on me in one of my rigs, and had to break the array up, I believe they have a firmware issue that doesn't really support Raid0 well. It can randomly not show up on your rig at times, the drives still work in single setup though. The 64mb cach is nice, and the 7200 rpm speed works great. I ended up getting a good deal back in the day on the enterprise series, 2 500gb ones I believe, same specs as the blacks, just meant to throw into a raid set up and are supported.

Last time I bought hard drives from Newegg was over a year ago, and its a crap shoot with Newegg when it comes to standard hard drives. They have known packing issues and some drives go bad in a very short time or just are DOA. I took a even bigger chance when I bought some last time and went with Seagate 4 tb drives and got two of them for my Media center build running Kodi/xbmc for my media backups. So far, all is good with them and have had no issues. I keep back up of my back ups, just in case. My backups are on 4 2tb WD green drives, so even if they flop I am covered on all my data/media.

The Greens have a smaller cach, and are only 5400rpm, but they work fine for media drives. No buffering or stutters in case that is a concern for you. If you plan on installing games on the storage drive if you run out of room on your new SSD, stick with the Blacks, you will not want a 5400rpm drive for gaming. Everything looks good, let us know if you need help getting that baby all together. ;)

a tip to save money if possible. if there's a Micro Center store nearby that you can get to, Get the i7-4790k there, $280 in store pickup only, or order online from SuperBiiz for $329+

Sure, What Budget? Any Preferences?
I'm Also Canadian so I've used it myself to look a few things up, and if I know it's a Canadian that wants a build that's what I use.
