I was fiddling with some settings in game today and noticed my Dx version was set to 9. Thinking that was a little odd I switched it to auto detect and restarted my game. When I rebooted it was in Dx 11, so I went on my merry way and jumped into a match. The match took place on canyon network, and right away i noticed a difference, except it wasn't good. The river that runs through the map was jet black like someone dumped oil across it until I got right up on it then it cleared up. After the map I went to the training ground and checked again, and the water was indeed all screwy and black, almost like it was in shadows; however, i play with shadows on low so it shouldn't look like it did. Here is a screenshot of what it looked like under Dx11.

And here is what it looks like in almost the same spot with it on Dx 9.

I'm running Dx11, but I'm not using Auto, which I've heard has problems atm.

So you should try Dx11 without the Auto being used, to see if that helps on your rig.

Maybe try deleting your shader cache also.

I can't see your screenshots because they're on Photobucket and don't load for me, but I know exactly the bug you're talking about, and get it as well. It's been a problem ever since DX11 came out.

I deleted my shaders, ran the repair tool, manually put it on Dx 11 and it still happens. It only seems to happen when i'm heading into the direction of the sun.

Not that I've found. I did a source select on your images, and yep, it's the same problem as you. There's no fix, just don't look at the water I guess. x.x

Best we could do is report it with screenshots, I haven't found anything relevant, but have found some info for optimizing though.

Is your video driver v. 353.09, or 353.49? Those seem to be the last time Keplers where updated …

Did your AA type change with the DX type?

There is supposed to be a pseudo-reflect effect going on the with dirty water (when I last used DX9)... but it's more like an overcast effect with the sun in DX11.

I don't know what really there is to say though.
