Shadowcat with an ER large laser and UAC 10...
Direwolf with 6 UAC 2's and an ER PPC...
Direwolf with 6 UAC 5's...
Mauler with 6 AC 2's...
Stormcrow with 4 x LRM 15's
Wolfhound with max nearly everything and an ER PPC and few small lasers
Black knight with 3 ER PPC's...
Raven with ER large laser, LRM 15

Solaris would be a lot of fun!!

I want to be in, with spectator mode.
And I want PGI makes possible to bet between spectators, running live commentary (all spectators in a ts room, for instance), etc.

Oh yeah? Well, i'm going to challenge all my enemies to a 1v1, show up in an all TAG and Flamer Locust, and shut down in some corner of the map while playing the hotter/colder game.

While i know this is a fun thread, there will be people that try use Solaris for rather sad reasons, so i'm dragging it down into Emo world

I feel I know where I stand in things, and I have no desire to rub anothers face in the dirt trying to show I'm bestest, I'm not I never will be, but I'm content to be where I am, which isn't bottom of the food chain

Does anybody else wonder if this game should have been Solaris from the start?

It would have been much more within scope and far more doable than what they have actually taken on.

Excluding CW content, all the existing maps could have been arenas on Solaris. Instead of CW, PGI could have developed ladder tournaments for solo/group competitions, C-Bill betting, etc... Mech customization like camos and colors to sell yourself to the masses as the hero.

I hate to say it, but a Solaris MW title might have been an easier (and at this point), more obtainable goal.

Heavy vs heavy would be a bit more interesting.......

But where I think the good matches will be is medium vs medium
