Makes me want a lobster bib and butter sauce cockpit item!

Although really any Urbie when I turn my torso all the way around to shoot at mechs chasing me. It's so much fun trying to steer by looking at the minimap!

I say UrbanMech. Seems like everytime I'm out in that thing, something silly happens. If I could deal with the aiming restrictions (barf) of 3PV, I would play that way every round and die of laughter after 90 seconds each time.

What about you? Do you have some really troll build that makes no sense and gets fried every time no matter what and get a kick out of it? Do you have some build that 1 shots anything in sight while suiciding? Do you have a certain group of friends you kick back with during casual sessions and get into silly stuff with derp builds?

UM-r63 Mine waddles at an astounding 67 kph, can jump medium dumpsters in a single bound and has pitifully light ammo stores for it's ac10, backed by the deadly pewpew of a single Medium Laser.

And I cackle like a deranged granny at bingo every time I kill someone's vaunted Meta Assault Mech with it.

Sorry, anything that tiny, that mean, and with a fully functional, 100% necessary, 100% useful piece of high tech equipment such as its flamer can't fail to please. Not only is it constantly underestimated because "lol, badder," but people's reactions when 24 Artemis assisted SRMs plow into their ass cheeks from the little mech they wrote off so quickly a moment earlier are universally priceless.

I laugh at Adders a lot, so I think it's prolly safe to conclude that I'd laugh piloting them too.

Reminds me, why nobody sayin Ice Ferret? Look at that ******* mech, what the ****? If you're piloting one you're havin a chuckle right? No way you're playin that with a straight face. Methinks it's the funniest clan mech.

I would be curious to see what people can come up with for the ice ferret as well. My community warfare drop deck has exactly 45 tons left over, so I've been thinking about a fun ice ferret for hopeless pugs.

The Ice Ferret is a good candidate for the lulz, actually. It's comically fast for a mech it's size. Somehow it just feels wrong to be going that fast in a mech that tall. There isn't a whole lot you can do in terms of choosing weapons though. Most of the joke builds are unintentionally funny.

Definitely Urbanmechs, especially tail-gunner mode.

Getting a kill as you shoot straight behind you while soaring through the air like a jet-boosted trash can mighty eagle (usually into the side of a building) is the epitome of the mechwarrior experience for me.

The thing I love most about Locusts is that you can lose both legs in quick enough succession that you are often still nearly doing full speed when you last leg is blown out from under you, resulting in some hilarious flips and headstands.

It's not as effective as the 4UAC5 King Crab, but I smiled a lot when running 2AC5 and 2 LBX10 on it. Lights with damaged armor ran away particularly fast.

I am looking forward to putting 4 LBX10 on a Mauler when they come out. Should be good for some giggles even if it will be slow and run out of ammo fast.
