Also why bother putting inner sphere MASC in that post if we all knew at first they had plans for Clans only. I doubt the Flea is one because we all know that could break the game but look at MASC MK 1 it does not make sense! Is there a light mech thats 20 tons that cannot break the game?

Can't Release Fire Moth, Goes too fast, even faster than locust.

They can't figure out how to get hit-reg after 170KPH+

So either way, both mechs are screwed until they can get it to work.

Most likely we will soon see the CTF-3L, WVR-7D and WVR-7M for the IS. All these variants have MASC and wouldn't chew up too many resources to implement.

162 without masc, with this weak 10% masc we have a chance for it (with lore masc it's 216, with mwo masc it's 178.2)

It's a safe bet we'll be getting some.


Phract 3L has been a variant listed for months, although aside from MASC and a LAA the 1X and the 3L are identical hardpoint wise. Not entirely sure why it's even there.

It upgrades the tech, AC10 for LB10, standard lasers for Pulse, PPC for ERPPC, DHS, and XL.


Due to Legomech, it's easy for any mech to get a new variant. Issue is, will PGI create a new, superior, version of a mech and put it for $ only in the gift store, or just give the 1X MASC to avoid it being an inferior robot.


Some Wolverines also available timeline wise, but with no MWO variant listed in the files. They could also just go the ECM route and give it to random robots. Ones with lesser performance...or the best ones out there (as with ECM).


Time will tell.

I know the gameplay comes over the board game lore but if it doesn't reach 216 I think people would be disappointed.

Then again Jump Jets don't work the same either I stand corrected.

I would be happy just to get a clan mech running faster then 100 kph.
The firemoth would make my day... maybe they can make MASC push it to the 180's... ya know, baby steps at making server better.

it'll go 178.2 when elited, and 194.4 KPH with elite and MASC. Now that right there is hit reg problems all over the place.

Also if we want to be technical about grammar MASC shouldn't be said as MASC instead it should be said as M.A.S.C. because each letter stands for something.

I had to read that first sentence about FIVE TIMES to get what you want to express.
