So I szarted to level the Gargoyles and have problems finding a good config for it.
I just got so far to get another arm and put an LBX-20 and 6 ER-S laser into the other.

Are there any other viable builds for the Prime?

I've been utilizing the quirk arms on the Gar in an attempt to squeeze more out of it. Having success with erppc and lb10x with cooldown modules for both, and a ct pulse laser. Works well in an alpha burst and torso twist playstyle that runs cool.

Gargoyle C-omnipods (for the -30 uac jam change quirk) and uac10 + 6 smalls works nicely when brawling, rarely overheats and with the cooldown module for the uac is pretty solid.

I run this on my prime.

Swapping a DHS for a TC1 or another ER ML also works pretty well.

You could shamelessly run an 80 ton Nova.

The Gar Prime can mount up to 11 ER Med Lasers, 10 if you're being a Nova purist and eschewing its CT hardpoint.

It does the one thing a Nova can't do. Stay in the fight and carry a boatload of heat sinks. People often use small pulse lasers for flavor, but its frequently too limiting due to its point-blank range. Small pulse laser Gargs are rather vicious in close combat though.

I prefer running mine for shoot and scoot, since the range on the ER Med allows for vastly more opportunities than the small pulse.

Running them up I stick to stock omnipods as such ended up going with

2 - LBX2
2 - SRM6
1 - ERML or ERSL

Went with LBX5s too been using that lately when i run it but 2's seem t have a touch more psychological edge allows me to get other mech to back off as they shake so much. Ended up being a pain to get used to but once I did have some very nice games with it that speed allows me to keep up with much lighter mechs.

If you like flashlight builds look no further, until the Ebon Jag hit today I'd argue this was the best successor to the TBR flashlight on firepower (obviously hitboxes are a lot worse, but maneuvering makes up for it in my mind).

Otherwise enjoy my silly brawl-esque assassin build: (genuinely effective if you choose fights well)
