Does anyone think Team A starting with Sigma that Team B can easily capture in first minute of play and quickly get a cap lead is silly as well. Personally I think with how big Alpine is the caps should be spread more to encourage more lance on lance combat and possibly get it away from current death ball strategies.

That is the way the map used to be, a single center cap point, one at each big base, and one at each small base. it was true conquest instead of skirmish 2.0
But then the guys who keep bringing big slow brawler builds complained endlessly until PGI put all the cap points right on top of each other instead of players stepping out of their comfort zone and taking something faster.
Sad because it was a true role warfare setup that let lights and mediums shine.
Such a waste of the map now.

funny, but slow brawling assaults still complain when they are on alpine
