Wow - that's just ridiculous!

How about a version for those of us that don't play CW? Maybe I'll just wait a few months until I have to download the whole thing again.

Seriously - you guys need to work on this, 1.3GB because of CW changes is just too much. I really feel for those you you with data caps.

Huh, maybe I went over my data cap, and that's why CW is giving me ping times in the 14000ms range. I am quite sure I am limited to 80GB/month.

I was wondering about this myself, then i went back and re-read the patch notes. Was easily missed (my fault for only caring about the actual changes).

Well, they made changes on the map, thus they had to make a "new" map. This is the reason becaus it is so big, technically it is a new map which has to be downloaded and the maps aren't that small in size.

A version for people who don't play cw may sound like a good idea, but that would need a second version, causing double work in future.
