Tie Chain Fire To Weapons, Not Groups

Why not put a check box for chain fire next to each weapon. You could still allow selection of chain fire for groups for those that prefer that method.

Group 1 : 3xMLas in left arm, group fired
Group 2 : 3xMLas in right arm, group fired
Group 3 : 3xMLas in left arm, chain fire
Group 4 : 3xMLas in right arm, chain fire

This is exactly what I do, as well as having a 5th weapon group to chain fire any of them.

Why buy a mouse when a G13 is better?
Now if only Logitech also made a right-handed G13.

There are 6 weapon groups available to you. Use more than 2.

LOL I do too when I'm goofing around c-bill farming racked out.
Then again I've been using a trackball since MW had mouse support, so it's not that bad.

Yup, I bought such mice and returned it, because I couldn't click more than two buttons at once. Tried to find some info about it, but all I found was about keyboards. Now I'm not even thinking about getting new mice with more than two buttons and wheel.

What mouse did you buy? Logitech G600 is excellent:
If you notice, it has 3 large "main" buttons on top. And of course you can set a gaming mouse like this in a million ways.
I tried like 6 different gaming mice before settling on this.

I use this mouse too and it is excellent.
I will say one negative thing about it though and that is unless you're really coordinated and have a supple thumb you will have difficulty using all of those side buttons. I use most of them but the third column of buttons is tricky for me, probably because the face of the buttons tilts towards the back of the mouse rather than forwards.
That said, there are so many buttons on it that you actually don't need that third column and you are likely to still have some spare... for when they add extra things like MASC to the game!

If macros are allowed anyway, might as well level the playing field and let everyone else have access to it with an in game version.

If you have a Razor Naga you can do what you are looking to do.

But I am also not a mouse snob and think you should be ale to play this game on a two button mouse.
Also I have notice my scores are inversely proportional to how complicated my mouse setup is. So not requiring two mouse clicks when one would do IMO would be better.

That said, it's possible for six weapon groups to not be quite enough. I.E. one for left arm weapons, one for right arm weapons, one for CT weapons, one for TAG, one for a single LRM/SRM launcher, then you only have room for one more, and thus can't have a chainfire group for left and right arm.
I'd prefer that the chainfire key applied to all weapon groups at once. So you could group your weapons how you liked then hit chainfire so that all groups move to chain.

I haven't used a two button mouse for games since 1995...
Heck multi-button mice are excellent for work as well where you can build macros into them to accomplish things faster.
